Meet Your Future Coach
My name is Derek, and I'm the founder of KRUE Coaching.
From an early age, I had a natural ambition to succeed and a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
This drive led me to study Health, Fitness & Exercise at New College Lanarkshire, originally with the goal of becoming a sports scientist, spurred by my love for football and sport.
However, as I faced personal challenges and took on significant responsibilities, it became clear that I was destined for more than I had first imagined.
This realisation prompted me to transition from a fitness instructor, personal trainer and owner of Derek Elder Coaching to founding something much greater, with more meaning in KRUE Coaching.
My commitment to personal and professional growth has only strengthened since then, as I continue to engage in nationwide business and self-development events and seek ongoing mentorship.
2023 marked a period of profound personal challenges and growth. The loss of my mother, following a severe asthma attack that had left her paralysed years earlier, deeply influenced my perspectives on resilience and purpose. Her unwavering spirit through incredible hardships has been a cornerstone of my own strength and determination. Her journey taught me the true essence of fighting spirit and has been my greatest inspiration.
